This was the final Target Books Doctor Who novelization to be published under the ownership of W.H. Allen (after this, Virgin Publishing took over). This was also the final Target novelization to be written by the prolific Terrance Dicks, though he would later adapt other Doctor Who-related productions for Virgin/Doctor Who Books and BBC Books.
