ppint. 18th Aug 2021		wm collins & sons lions imprint 2/1980 ninth impression (printing) on a new isbn and with new cover art by stephen lavis (credited on back cover) b+w interior illustrations by charles keeping (credited) cover price 75p (?overseas countries' prices?) 160pp. including 6pp. titles, indica, table-of-contents (chapters) etc. (no additional end pp.) this is the earliest impression on this isbn and with this cover art of which i've record, but it may not be the first such (and the two changes mayn't've been simultaneous), so another bookcatter may find they need to vary the date and add a comment saying their copy on this isbn is earlier, if it too has stephen lavis' cover art, or add it as a new bookcat item if it is on this isbn, but bears the earlier cover. lions imprint near-identical 8/1980 tenth impression (printing) differs: cover price 85p (no overseas prices) indica publishing history adds line stating tenth impression august 1980 .. .. .. lions imprint near-identical 1/1985 sixteenth impression (printing) differs: cover price £1.50 .. 9/1986 eighteenth impression differs: cover price £1.75 .. .. .. 5/1992 lions twenty-fourth printing differs, with new: cover art by ? isbn 0-00-674291-2 cover price £3.50 192pp. including titles, indica etc. so text has been re-set, and this is a new edition .. 1995 lions printing on this isbn differs: cover price £3.99 .. 6/1999 lions printing on this isbn bears cover art by david wyatt cover price £4.99 - and then there appeared to be two or three more-or-less simultaneous different collins/harpercollins p/b group uk p/b editions from/on different imprints, with different cover art, and different interior b+w illustrations, and different uk cover prices, all too high, so yr hmbl srppnt. ceased stocking this new.
