° - there was almost certainly a merkin h/cvr and/or tp/b intended to be published simultaneously: at least some of the octopus books copies were distributed in d-js bearing a $16.95 price on the bottom corner of the d-j front flap: i don't know if this was the merkin as well as the canadian cover (d-j) price, or just the canadian - or, just the merkin(!).
