 near-identical editions/printings sharing cat#, isbn,

cover price $1.95

refer to indica to see if carcass of copy held was canadadian- or merkin-printed.
no priority established nor liable to be. both first printings accounted the first edition.

(it'd be appreciated if any bookcatter holding the canadadian-printed copy checks indica & covers and advises if there's any indication whether the covers're merkin or canadadian-printed.)

multiple further near-identical printings with same cover art, rising cover prices, through two changes in ownership of the publisher: the isbn is retained as popular library is taken over by fawcett publications and becomes fawcett popular library, and at least the 11th printing, cover price $2.95, and some time in 1982, but changes when the imprint is changed by the third owners, warner books, some time later on in 1982, to 0-446-31095-6, cover price $2.95 (bearing a second isbn 0-446-31096-4, for canada (& iirc $3.25 cover price).
(warner books 0446- isbnned mmpbs will presumably be a separate bookcat item, when they surface here. . .)(if & when they do, watch out for whether they count some, all or none of the earlier popular library, fawcett popular library editions & printings in numbering their printings and editions.)
