ppint. 28th Jan 2021		first harcourt, brace, jovanovich (hbj) jove books mmpb printing, arguably first edition film novelisation based on the screenplay cover art unsigned, uncredited (based on film still, with added typography) cover price $2.50 232pp. including unnumbered 8pp. photography section between pp. 112 & 113, titles, indica etc, end pp. the uk p/b appears to've been published one month before the jove mmpb, but the distribution of mmpbs was normally a month before the declared publication month, as this was regarded as the off-sale date by merkin mmpb distributors, news wholesalers, newsstands, etc., for covers to be stripped and returned for credit.
