George Harrison was an English musician, songwriter, and film producer, who rose to fame as the lead guitarist of the Beatles. He was born in Liverpool in 1943, and became interested in music at a young age. Harrison's contributions to the Beatles' sound were significant, as he introduced elements of Indian music that influenced their later work. After the band's breakup in 1970, Harrison released several successful solo albums, including All Things Must Pass and Living in the Material World. Harrison was also involved in film production, co-founding the movie production company HandMade Films. He passed away in 2001, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century.
