220 pages of which 180 have one cartoon per page with information on war time events that inspired the cartoons.
The first 35 pages are a biography of Carl Giles.

The majority of the cartoons are from Reynolds News, 23rd January 1938 to 19th September 1943. Many haven't been seen since they were first published. The others are from the Sunday and Daily Express, 3rd October 1943 to 9th October 1945.
