ppint. 13th Sep 2020		there was never a ''dell first edition'' imprint, it's just a misreading of the cover typography. all 30-odd should be emended to just ''dell'' (or ''dell books'' - but bookcat already has 300+ titles listed as just ''dell''). dell (& delacourt press h/cvr imprint, laurel leaf, mayflower, etc. other mmpb & tp/b imprints.) were eventually bought by bantam books becoming part of ''bantam doubleday dell'', the merkin arm of the biggest german family-owned/controlled international publishing conglomerate as the yuk-of-gb-&-ni's corgi, scottie, young corgi & black swan books, bertelsmann. who may or may not be a g'mb'huh.
