 walt disney/walt disney, inc./(some corporate form of "the mouse") took exception to the unauthorised use fredric brown made of their iconic emblem and val-u-a-ble property in his story in planet stories, requiring at least one rewrite by the author, and at least one title change.
yr hmbl srppnt. does not possess a copy of this issue, and consequently cannot confirm the title under which it originally appeared from personal observation:

(advice from any bookcatter eyeballing an actual real, live copy of the spring '42 prozine in the wild would be welcome. . .)

- and, believe it or not, fredric brown's star mouse rode again. . .
