 Old Book still relavent to the Toy Train Hobby

If you have Toy Trains and want to have more fun or exchange experiences with the kids or grand kids and the trains you have are from 1950- 1970 this is a must have book. First I was pleasantly surprised to find some real electrical science covered. AC and DC current, electric motors and controllers are exposed in the hobby making this a very educational aspect to the book. The train operation logic is covered in a way for you to see many new ways to operate the trains. The Modeling aspect is covered enough to get you thinking about how to make the scenery and layout more realistic with out turning it into a manned mission to Mars. Track layout examples will cross all scales although the original focus is S Gauge American Flyer. Lionel and now M.T.H. are still producing this scale which is larger than HO but smaller than Lionel O gauge. Very good book, try to get a clean copy, I bought one for me and one for my Grandsons.
