Book
Notes 496 pages. From the back cover (translated): Samuel Coomans was born in Lommel on August 3, 1973 and worked as a presenter at various free radios from the age of fourteen. Together with Azing Moltmaker, co-author and curator of the Beatles Museum in Alkmaar, he wrote several Beatles discographies. His great hobby is collecting Beatles singles and EPs from all countries where the band has released music. Because Samuel needed a reference book to catalog his collection and because this did not yet exist, he himself wrote more than twenty books with illustrated discographies for the collector of Beatles vinyl. Thanks to his radio program with stories about The Beatles, which was broadcast for more than two years, he wrote this book: Under the spell of The Beatles. It became a story collection that exposes the lives of the four Beatles through 120 songs and paints a fascinating picture of the eight years that they were together as a group. This accessible book provides a surprising insight into their success, but also the ups and downs of a band that appeals to the imagination. Images
