gregs45s SUBS 28th Sep 2016		Rated 8/10 Interesting history of the Chelsea Hotel in New York,for me,personally the interest starts about half way through,from the sixties,seventies and on (music wise).A place that was home/temporary home to many of the day's musicians,artists,poets etc,and where Sid and Nancy had an apartment,until she was knifed to death,"Sid reportedly said (high)"I killed her....can't live without her"but he also seemed to mutter through his tears "she must have fallen on the knife".Plenty of tales of excess as you can imagine,drug-fuelled parties,orgies,etc,etc,also (unbelievably) where Jimi Hendrix got mistaken for the hotel bell-boy (cringe:(.Worth a look. 5 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
