Introduction by Mike Merritt and illustrations by Scottish artists Peter Howson and Frank McFadden.

The artists put on an exhibition at the Loch Croispol Bookshop, Restaurant & Gallery (2 Balnakeil Craft Village, Durness, IV27 4PT) during the John Lennon Northern Lights Festival in Durness, Scotland in 2007. Their work consisted of oils, pastels and drawings of John Lennon, and some of the images were reproduced in a book about the festival.

Whilst I have been unable to track down a copy of the book, the image shown here is a lithograph by Peter Howson which was presumably on display during the exhibition, or available shortly thereafter. It measures 19 cms x 19 cms and was sold at auction on 8 December 2021 (price unknown).
