ppint. 10th Mar 2020		nordon publications leisure books mmpb first printing, first edition may exist in near-identical canadian-carcased printing sharing merkin-printed covers and hence cat#° cover art by ken barr (signed) cover price 95¢ 160pp. including titles, indicia etc, end pp. advertising refer to indicia to see if carcass of copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed no priority established nor liable to be, both liable to state a leisure book---april 1975 ° - if carcase of copy held found to be canadadian-printed, please post "here" giving indicia wording used to state this. thank-you. ppint.



ppint. 23rd Mar 2018		title is still incorrect: it should be "kyrik: warlock warrior" as per cover and title page, not "... warlord ..." as at present. 12/9/18 (9/12/18 for merkins) now fixed: thankee kindly, o semi-divine being.



ppint. 22nd Mar 2018		spine bears a numeral string purported to be the isbn: 0 • 8439 • 00252 • 095 this is incorrect even if the final three digits - the cover price in ¢ - are removed, as the checksum digit generated would not be a "2", but a " 3": as the "252" is the numerical element of the cat#, the whole thing would seem to be be a deliberate meaningless misconfection miscreated under some monomaniacal misconception by nordon publications.

ppint. 15th Nov 2017		title is "kyrik: warlock warrior", not "... warlord ...". this also exists with a 30p uk cover price and a flamingo books logo on the front cover in place of the leisure books logo, and no cat#, upon the merkin mmpb carcass: but yr hmbl srppnt.'s no knowledge of any formal uk distribution, and this may've been an instant remainder. or only distributed by "news wholesalers"°. or both. and, unless nordon industries bought/licenced world rights from the author, the flamingo book could also've been illegitimate°°. ° - yr hmbl srppnt. only saw new copies of this "flamingo" books uk p/b on-sale in london newsagents. °° - "flamingo" is generally the collins group imprint to which books perceived as being of literary interest sufficient to warrant publication in the larger "b format" paperbacks were assigned, so it's doubtful the thorpe and porter/successor company's flamingo imprint was recognised generally by or within the uk & commonwealth and european book trades.



ppint. 16th Feb 2021		unknown publisher's flamingo books imprint p/b first printing°, first uk edition cover art by ken barr (signed, uncredited) cover price 30p 160pp. including titles, indicia etc, end pp. advertising still bears leisure books' faked purported isbn on spine ° - a run-on or partial bind-up of first leisure books mmpb printing with some details varied for uk; seems published, or at least distributed, by some part of the bankrupt thorpe & porter publishing & distribution group, after the sale of this onto the uk arm of a merkin magazine, mmpb & comic wholesaler (this comment is from another edition of this book)
