Vdespite the indica note that this "is the only authorized (sic) edition of these stories", the previous year's merkin bantam books, inc. mmpb was presumably previously also authorised - and the source of that note.

ppint. 14th May 2018		fiction, short stories, historical, western reference copy provided by courtesy of tony at the old pier bookshop, morecambe seafront some previous owner has torn out the third (unpaginated) leaf from the book, which may bear the author's dedication; should any bookcatter out there be able to supply this from an intact copy, please do post it here in a comment.
