Edited by Baillie Tolkien from original letter Tolkien wrote to his children at Christmas. The book contains the stories he told his children and the letters he wrote to them - 10 are replicated here in replica envelopes.

I have scanned each letter - just the front, the back has the text typewritten as his script can be difficult to read but I have not scanned those.

This is a children's book - he wrote these for his children and I guess reading them again now, after so many decades have passed since I originally bought and read the book, I realise how times have changed so much, not even from when he wrote them but from when I read the book.
