ppint. 16th Sep 2019		the book title given as the english title, "tomorrow and tomorrow", is apparently the wrong title: this should be de-linked from editions of that book. both this french site and oclc/worldcat lists this as "traduction de: the fairy chessman": this is the short novel published in english as, variously "the far reality", "the fairy chessmen" and "chessboard planet"; it was written by henry kuttner and c. l. moore - mostly, it is believed, by henry kuttner - and published under his and their collaborative pseudonym, "lewis padgett". first solo book publication "chessboard planet" lewis padgett, galaxy novel no. 26, new york, usa1956), q.v. first book publication in the h/cvr double, "tomorrow and tomorrow" and "the fairy chessmen" lewis padgett, gnome press, new york, usa 1951), q.v. this is frequently reffed as though it were a single work, "tomorrow and tomorrow and the fairy chessmen", which is doubtless whence the confusion arose.
