Lulu Kennedy-Cairns OBE, born Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie on 3rd November 1948, Lennoxtown, Stirlingshire, Scotland, UK, is a singer-songwriter, actress, TV personality and businesswoman. Lulu rose to fame in 1964 with her UK hit Shout, then won the Eurovision Song Contest with Boom Bang-a-Bang in 1969, also being known for the song To Sir With Love from the film of the same name released in 1967 then the title song to the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun (1974).
