(° whether card covers of these are separately stated to be printed in canada not currently known) serialised in amazing vol.49 #1, 7/1975 and vol.49 #2, 9/1975 the cover art of the former, for part one, plus a b+w illustration for each part, by stephen fabian.



ppint. 10th Jan 2021		near-identical second and third j'ai lu p/b printings 8/1989 & 10/1989 cover art by matthieu blanchin (attributed on noosfere.org) cover price (none) 192pp. including titles, indica etc, end pp. advertising (the ordinality and perhaps the dates of these two printings should be given in the publishing history, but i have not seen the wording of this reported - or even, that it was actually done. noosfere.org give the 1996 fourth j'ai lu printing on the same cat#, but do not have the cover art or artist for this.) all four printings are given as price / cat. 2, but it's rising half a century since i was in france and bought a j'ai lu livre de poche - if i ever knew what price this related to - including v.a.t. - it'd've been in ff, not €, and i've long since forgotten. ppint. 10th Jan 2021		the number-string in the isbn13 field is^W was wrong and should^W has been deleted it does not possess 13 digits and is not an isbn13: and any number-string would be incorrect if the publication date ascribed is correct: the isbn13 was not yet invented - by a couple of decades - in 1977 even if this date is correct - and it looks rather suspect: editions opta omnibus of #1 & #2 publication date is 12/1976, so that publisher would have had the french language rights in '77 and for a few years after... edit: ah - noosfere.org gives this cover by matthieu blanchin as appearing on the 8/1989 j'ai lu p/b printing and the 10/1989 reprint of this. publication date of this printing is^W was wrong and should^W has been corrected to 1989 (this comment is from another edition of this book)
