ppint. 5th Jan 2019		priory books undated p/b first printing, c.1973-4, not first uk p/b edition of extremely dubious legality, like the bridbooks edition that preceded it, both ascribed by les flood (e. j. carnell literary agency, plumstead, kent uk) to "the nefarious peter haddock". . . cover art uncredited, sfaik still unattributed cover price 30p, $1.00 australia, $1.00 new zealand, $1.00 canada, $1.25 usa 128pp. including titles, indica etc, blank end p. i'm not aware of this edition ever being distributed via the book trade in the uk - or at all, in any of the other territories associated with these cover prices. i only ever met it new as an instant remainder in f. w. woolworth's remaindered books dump cages printed in israel, where attention to uk, eu, us etc. copyright law was, ah, somewhat relaxed.
