seems to've been the most widely-distributed edition in the uk-of-gb-&-ni: i don't remember seeing the 1966 panther books p/b when it came out, and maybe only the once, since; and the 1963 victor gollancz h/cvr sold primarily to the local authorities' public libraries system: i've not seen it for sale secondhand for decades...
