ppint. 21st Jun 2021		the editor was almost certainly thomas a. dardis, berkley and berkley medallion staff editor at the time. the real people (novella) by algis budrys appeared in beyond fantasy fiction strato bre vol.1 #3, 5/1954 sfaik there were only four issues of the strato british reprint editions of beyond fantasy fiction, and they were substantially abridged from the merkin originals. i believe none of the other collected stories appeared in the bre; fortunately this berkley medallion mmpb was quite common in england - especially in london and the midlands: thorpe & porter must've imported as many as a couple of thousand for distribution to their accounts.
