 indicia sole reported date ©1947 suggests this follows the unrevised hadley merkin h/cvr first edition,
but previous ace books publication (as "one against eternity", ½D-94, 1955) gives © 1942, 1947, 1952 which indicates ace used the greenberg h/cvr revised text.
