ppint. ● 31st Mar 2022		tove jansson revised ''kometjakten'' (1946, in swedish) as ''muumipeikko ja pyrstötähti'' (1955, translated into finnish), and again as ''mumitrollet på kometjakt'' (1956, in swedish), and again as ''kometen kommer'' (1968, in swedish); by the end of the 1968 revision, the silk monkey had become a cat or kitten, moominpappa likes palm wine rather than milk, and real-world placename references have been removed or replaced. (this comment is from another edition of this book)
