ppint. 26th May 2023		faber & faber (though there was only ever the one) h/cvr first printing, first edition cover (d-j) art by cecil leslie interior b+w illustrations also by cecil (mary) leslie cover (d-j) price 13/6d. 186pp? (check) including titles, indicia, table-of-contents (chapters) etc, end p., bound with endpapers between covered boards publication date liable to've been ~6th/7/1962 as reviewed in the guardian that day. may well've been repriced upwards by faber & faber price label over old price on d-j front flap, if still in-print (or on d-j if this reprinted) in the seventies.
