| David Whiteley 12th Oct 2020 | ppint, After reading your comment regarding the revisions to this book I have compared the 1973 version to the 1979 revised edition and found that the changes are minor. For example, all references to Jerry owning or driving a Cadillac are removed, Mrs Cornelius (Jerry's mum) is mentioned a few times but she doesn't appear in the story and a character's name is changed to Una (Persson). Also a reference to The Moody Blues and Manfred Mann has gone. There are a few more small changes such as Jerry using a stronger expression than "Go stuff yourself" and that's about it. | |
