uniform series design: series name, "the novels of", printed in black above author's name, then horizontal white line, then d-j art, then title. bound with endpapers between light blue cloth-covered boards.
the 1960 through 1968 (at least) heinemann printings bear a full colour d-j, art by w. francis phillipps - william francis phillipps, probably most often credited as w. f. phillipps. (this comment is from another edition of this book)
