 second signet books mmpb printings sharing merkin-printed covers and hence also cat#,

cover art by bob pepper (signed "pepper")
cover price 75¢
160pp. including titles, indica etc.

refer to indica to see if carcass of copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed
no priority established nor liable to be, both seen reported to state second printing, october, 1970
but also one seen reported to not state this:
it's possible both were initially accounted the second printing..

- had there been a third merkin signet printing with a simultaneous canadadian-carcassed equivalent, c.1972 or so, these would probably both have initially been accounted the fifth printing, with the bob pepper-covered 1970 couple (re-)accounted the third and the fourth printings over-all, as new american library slowly developed a consistent method of coping with the problem. . .
