The book covers every aspect of the terminal, from a look at the prior railroad stations, the planning and architecture (with plans), construction, operation, struggle to keep the station alive in the era of airplanes, and its revival under Amtrak and the growth of Metrolink and Metro Rail. Illustrated throughout with black and white photos from all eras. With timetables. 120 pages.
