ppint. 24th Feb 2025		george prior publishers first printing, not first uk h/cvr edition this appears to be a run-on, or a modification of part, of the gregg press first printing, with additional line "published in the uk by george prior publishers" & new isbn in indicia, in addition to the merkin data; uk publisher george prior publishers added above the boston gregg press on title page, etc.; but does not add george prior to the "gregg" on the spine. photo offset from the ace books first edition, with author's note (nf introduction) cover (d-j) art by wayne barlowe (signed, credited) title page b+w decoration by alice d. phalen b+w maps: "the world of newhon" jim cawthorn (1961), "a portion of lankhmar" tim kirk (1968?) stardock and obelisk by jeff jones (credited) cover (d-j) price (none printed, £4.95 nor™ price gun label on d-j front flap) 224pp. (check) including titles, indicia, b+w maps, illustrations etc, sewn in signatures and bound with endpapers between red buckram-covered boards, title, author & gregg blocked in gold or silver (check) on spine, facsimile of fritz leiber's signature (also in gold, or silver) on front board's clothed 0860431614
