| ppint. 27th Sep 2018 | NEL 1040 four square science fiction 3/6 (top line of front cover) published by the new english library limited NEL (top back cover) NEL the new english library (across lower eighth title page) the indica copyright information is confused in incorrectly crediting the first publication of the parent collection, "all the traps of earth", to the galaxy publishing corporation; though the line, "copyright © 1962 by clifford d. simak" is correct for this. the indica copyright information for the stories is further confused in that it gives seven dates: this reflects the 9 story contents of the u.s. hardcover first edition of "all the traps of earth", rather than this uk collection derived from it. 144pp. including 6 unnumbered pp. titles, indica, table of contents; 1 blank end p. cover art unattributed, unsigned cover price 3/6 (front cover), australia 60c, belgium fr 35, france 4.05 ff, germany dm 2.80, italy lire 450, netherlands fl 2.45, new zealand 45c, switzerland fr 3.00, united kingdom 3/6 (rear cover) so this edition should be re-flagged "international" according to respected moderator's rule or not so re-flagged, according to equally well-respected moderator's heartfelt plea nel books are published by the new english library limited from barnard's inn, holborn, london, ec1 (uk) made and printed in great britain by ivor nicholson & watson ltd., redhill, surrey | |
