ppint. 25th Feb 2022		reprinting of our methuen london p/b setting, but by now (then) abp/methuen had sold itself off to ipc/reed international's the hamlyn publishing group, which had turned itself into the octopus publishing group, and re-named the methuen london imprint, mandarin... cover art unsigned, uncredited cover price £3.99, $10.95 australia rrp, $12.95 n. zealand incl. gst 192pp. including four unpaginated pp. titles, indica etc, 2 end pp: 1 blank p, 1p. advertising sf list (this comment is from another edition of this book)



ppint. 23rd Jul 2018		near-identical editions/printings sharing merkin-printed covers and hence cat#, isbn, and cover art by frank kelly freas (signed "kelly freas", credited) 192pp including titles, indica, etc. & 3 end pp. daw books advertising, mail-order information near-meaningless daw book no.555 cover price canada $2.95 canada • us $2.50 so should be re-flagged "international" according to respected moderator's rule refer to indica to see whether carcass of copy held is canadadian- or merkin- printed. merkin printing number-string gives full: first daw printing november 1983/123456789 canadadian number-string drops the "1": first daw printing november 1983/23456789 so was accounted second printing by daw (system used late 1980 - early 90s) but no dating priority established nor liable to be.
