ppint. ● 28th Apr 2023		if this is indeed only slightly expanded, it must've been re-set in a significantly larger point size than the uk first edition. yr hmbl srppnt. does not know of any textual comparison having been made - - save, presumédly, by andrew stephenson. andrew's made explicit his firm and considered decision to not continue writing professionally, when asked by people who've enjoyed his two novels and asked him if he was still writing; a bare handful of shorter-length stories - three short stories and two novelettes - and the text for the graphic novel, ''waterloo sunset'' andrew stephenson, trevor goring (2006), q.v., complete his published written work. wearing the derived pseudonym of ''ames'' (from his full name's initials, ''andrew michael stephenson''), he is and was also a fine - as well as a fan - sf artist, though somewhat diffident about this, too, when asked. he drew the interior illustrations for "(the) inverted world" by christopher priest (1970), q.v.
