This book first appeared in 1980 as a limited edition of 2,000 numbered copies, signed by George Harrison, and has been reprinted on many occasions over the years, remaining a timeless compendium of George Harrison's music and a testament to his career.

The book has long been valued by collectors and fans for the unique insight it offers into George's writing process, and this new edition provides an even more complete document of his work, for the first time encompassing lyrics from the whole of his life, from 1943 to 2001. This has been made possible by the efforts of Olivia Harrison, Dhani Harrison, and archivist Richard Radford.

This new colour extended edition contains nearly 200 new pages, with more than 50 added songs.

The book marks the 100th book from Genesis Publications since the company's founding in 1974.
