| ppint. 4th Sep 2021 | the added image is liable to be of the second state of the 1977 penguin books 8th printing, with the printed cover price (50p or 55p?) over-printed with the new price of 60p. the 1979 penguin books 9th printing bears new cover art by peter lord cover price 85p which was itself reprinted near-identically in 1980, 1981, 1981 again, in 1983 (13th printing) bearing cover price £1.35 and in 1984 (14th printing) bearing cover price £1.95, $5.50 australia, $8.95 n.z., $3.95 can. the cover price is rather unlikely to've been 60p in 1997.
