ppint. 4th May 2022		undated° manor books third mmpb printing cover art by bruce pennington (unsigned, uncredited, retained from the previous manor books second mmpb printing, q.v. for my two-stage firm identification of the source) cover design by tony destefano credited, typography re-designed: titles etc. smaller, outlined in black cover price $1.50 176pp. including titles, indica etc, end pp. number-string on spine ''0 532 15275 0'' looks like an isbn but is incorrect, possibly faked by manor books (to save costs?); if properly issued, it would've been ''0-532-15275-6''. ° - date entered obtained by interpolation into manor mmpb cat#s of same extent and $1.50 cover price at least some copies with this cover art and cat# bear very poorly-printed covers with dire registration of black and colour inks, reminiscent of a low-resolution colour photocopy made with all the colour inks running low, purple ink and shading of major typography replaced with black+white half-tones. (my two-stage identification of this firm attribution and source) cover design by tony destefano (credited on back cover), author, title outlined in purpley-mauve cover price $1.25 176pp. including titles, indica etc, end pp. the previous first manor books printing, cat# 95319 (2/1974), bore a somewhat psychedelic solely typographical cover, accounted itself to be the second printing, crediting the 12/1968 macfadden mmpb edition as the first printing. manor books, inc. bought conglomerate macfadden bartell's publishing interests.
