After Paul McCartney's album Flowers In The Dirt was released, record label Parlophone plugged Paul's back catalogue and produced a box that could contain all Paul's CD releases from McCartney through to Flowers In The Dirt. The decoration on the box and accompanying 32-page booklet drew heavily from the artwork for the album cover to Flowers In The Dirt.

The booklet contained an announcement of Paul's first World Tour for thirteen years, an introduction to the new band, a potted year-by-year biography of Paul, numerous photos of the band, a note to their crew about eating vegetarian cooking during the tour, and the set list for the tour.
