 first book publication year date should be 1962 for the simon & schuster first edition's year of publication 9/1962

 two near-simultaneous 1967 printings (2nd march, 3rd may) may differentiate between book carcasses being printed in canadada or merkia, but this is not definitely known.

new cover typographical lay-out
cover art of at least the second printing reverses the unattributed artwork left-right - but not the "lightning", which was evidently not part of the painting.
