Magic Marmalade 8th Nov 2015		Sadly so Greg. Heartbreaking to see so many gone... even those that you thought were so long established that they were permanent fixtures of the landscape. I don't think it is overstating the point to compare the sheer scale of Pub-loss to the dissolution of the monasteries by Henry VIII (Arguably more culturally important to us modern Brits too!). ...and those that do remain are often God awful restaurant places now- dining tables where once stood sticky beer stained chairs and tables.
