In Speaking Words of Wisdom: The Beatles and Religion, leading and emerging scholars from a number of fields (religion, music history, philosophy, sociology, etc.) explore the subject of religion in the Beatles' lives, music, reception, and legacy. There are chapters on religious life in Liverpool at the time the Beatles were growing up, how each individual Beatle understood matters of ultimate concern, the ways in which Beatlemania was a religious phenomenon, and how the Beatles’ authority has been religiously imagined in positive and negative ways since their breakup.

JPGR&B SUBS 29th Sep 2023		Yesterday the author kindly provided an image of the front cover, and advised that Penn State University Press ended up pushing the publication date back [from 2023] to spring 2024 (he didn't know the precise date). It will be published in hardcover and paperback.
