Standing With A Bootleg In Your Hand came from a passion for The Beatles and their music. Ever since I was a child I have listened, sung and played Beatles songs. In 1976. I was given a very strange LP, without a cover, entitled Kum Back. It was a really weird, different record. Listening to the original Let It Be vinyl, I realised that this version of the songs was surprisingly different. What was it about? Shortly thereafter I discovered that it was a Bootleg. From there came the idea of creating Standing With A Bootleg In Your Hand. Three years of intense work with the aim of helping those who are trying, sometimes desperately, to unravel this complex but wonderful world. I have tried to collect, thanks to numerous publications, books, the internet and with the valuable support of fans and music lovers, more than 650 Beatles Bootlegs focusing mainly on the image. A complex search with over 3,000 images makes it easier to disentangle the myriad of Bootlegs and identify them.
