First published in Cavalier, Mar 1973. "Tell Mommy What Happened", short story by Alan Ryan. First published in "Shadows 3". (1980). "The Squatters", short story by Carl Schiffman as by Carl Shiffman. "The Woman in the Room", short story by Stephen King. First published in "Night Shift" (1978). "Black Silk", short story by Barbara-Jane Crossley. This was the last of the Pan Book of Horror Stories edited by Herbert Van Thal who died before its publication. Clarence Paget completed the editing of this volume and took over the reins for the last five (No's 26 to 30). Paget, being Pan's chief editor was responsible for Van Thal getting the job of editing the horror series which began in 1959. | |
