ppint. 13th Dec 2017		reprint anthology of ten stories (one novella, three novelettes, six short stories) and a novel excerpt, plus introduction by the editor; aka (and originally) "great science fiction" (dell mmpb 2/1964), q.v., and totally unrelated to the judith merrill-edited year's annual best anthology series reprinted over here starting with the fifth (#5 - #8 erratically renumbered) by mayflower boks as "the best of sci-fi" series, nos. (1), 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 & 12, qq.v.) cover art by richard powers (uncredited, but retained/reused from the merkin mmpb where it is credited) cover price 5/- 288pp? including titles, indica etc.
