Gill Sans SUBS 17th May 2020		The BCP is the official prayer book of the Church of England, covering services in common time and for all feasts of the liturgical calendar as well as for occasions such as weddings and funerals. It has remained in use through many printings. For many churchgoers Evensong and Compline are favourite services, allowing tranquil contemplation in a formal setting. There are many examples of compline services on YouTube but there is an online service which was recorded for the followers of the Society of St. John the Evangelist in Cambridge, Massachusetts to use during the current lock-down. The order of service is followed in the oldest traditional way and allows viewers to follow the order from the service sheet, including the music scores in the traditional scoring for plainchant. ssje.org/compline/
