Alan Levy is a college student who, in the fall of 1960, spends a semester abroad in Hamburg, Germany. There, he has the misfortune to rent a room next door to an up-and-coming rock and roll band from the North of England. They call themselves the Beatles.

Hi, I would love to tell everybody about a brand new Beatles book I wrote that, if you're reading this page, I think you would probably love. Set in Hamburg 1960: The Indra, the Kaiserkeller, the Bambi Kino. You may know SOME of the story, but here's the rest. It's a fast, funny read, and was published in cooperation with Astrid Kirchherr's estate.
