ppint. 7th Jun 2019		two different sphere books printings/bindings bearing different cover art exist, both bearing only the first sphere books publication year date of 1967 in their publishing history. the cover art on the second (c.1970) printing is not the same as that on the first, which is attributed to bill botten and is on his website: but this may be a misreading of an ambiguity, as he became sphere books' art editor and so accepted responsibility for art by other artists that he'd bought in, as well as for his own cover art; this needs further checking to sort out
