ppint. 19th Aug 2019		quite. as stated on back cover, this novel was published in (merkin) h/cvr by duell, sloan & pearce, inc. before bantam books' mmpb. they published their h/cvr edition in 1947. so that first published date should^W has been corrected to 1947.
