ppint. 4th Jun 2023		paper tiger / dragon's world went bust, or very nearly so, and were bought by collins brown (yr hmbl srppnt. does not know if these were then independent), who voluntarily started paying the paper tiger books-published artists money owed by the owners of the previous incarnation; this confused josh kirby at least twice over, as no-one'd kept him abreast of the ongoing ''situation'' - nor, therefore, that the new owners almost certainly weren't under any legal obligation to pay him any of the royalties outstanding when they bought the remaining assets. it cheered him up considerably when i explained this and similar, and advised him to re-contact his agent to open correspondence with the (then) new owners. (i've tried finding any current on-line presence of paper tiger/dragons world/dragons dream publishers or imprints again a couple of times this year, and so far failed.)



ppint. 4th Jun 2023		anova books paper tiger imprint h/cvr first printing, first edition cover (d-j) art over like (?laminated?) boards by richard hescox cover price £20.00, $44.95 canada, $29.95 usa 128 very large format pp. (check) including titles, indicia etc. bound (with endpapers?) between covered boards there should have been a vlf card-covered bind-up of carcasses from the same print-run, but yr hmbl srppnt. does not know if this occurred. nor am i actually certain who owned anova books at the time, which got increasingly fraught for me, and distracted me from matters such as this, and quite a lot of other things, besides.
