ppint. 27th Nov 2017		i s'spect the 1968 © date refers to the serialisation, and the first book publication date to be early 1969, as the mmpb is unlikely to precede the 8/69 merkin sf book club hardcover by a year. . . - if 1968, it must have been in the last two (or three) months thereof. serialised as "_the tuvela_" in analog vol.lxxxii #1, #2; 9/1968, 10/1968 part one is the cover story, and each part has two b+w illustrations, all by john schoenherr
