ppint. 31st Aug 2019		(and "10 Methuen publishers" is definitely too many - so long as we're talking about uk publishers, and not people - but working out which of them should, and which of them should not, best be reduced into a single bookcat listing and this give a fairly & sensibly obvious choice to anycatter coming along to add another methuenbook afterwards.. ..needs thought.)



ppint. 31st Aug 2019		ha! - as in ha-haa!, and other written representations of mirth: no, it's by no means invariable that flagging a book - or an lp - "international" improves the usefulness of the bookcat - or lpcat - sub-domains of 45worlds, especially as so doing actually reduces the information provided since it is an option that removes the flag of the country of the originating publisher - or record company - of the 45worldscat item. (the "bootleg" indicator also does this, which doesn't seem necessarily very useful behaviour.) - as for divinity, "(s)he whom the gods would destroy, they first drive mad" - with delusions megalomaniacal ?

We have 10 Methuen publishers listed there, none of them linked, only one not_UK and none International. Job for someone with ambitions of Divinity I'd say Anyway, the associated record has been entered as UK



ppint. 26th Aug 2019		cover price £1.70, australia $4.95 (recommended only), new zealand $4.95, canada $6.60 (so should be re-flagged "international" according to respected moderator's rule; or not so re-flagged, according to respected moderator's heartfelt plea) bears methuen paperbacks "magnum books" logo, as of end of a champagne cork, but not published as a magnum books edition.
